OUR HISTORY
With over 35 years of experience in the trucking industry, Robert Bearden, founder of Robert Bearden Inc. bought RBI’s first tractor and trailer in 1997. Since 1997, Robert Bearden Inc. has strived to meet and exceed its customer’s expectations with unparallel service, ease of doing business, and a first-class operations and driver team. This philosophy has allowed us to grow rapidly from one tractor and trailer to over 250 tractors and 850 trailers.
August 2004
Opened a 13,000 Square Foot Maintenance Facility
In August of 2004, Robert Bearden, Inc. addressed its rapid growth again and opened a 13,000 square foot maintenance facility in Valdosta, GA.

Opened a New Dedicated Terminal in Meridian, MS

RBI Celebrates 20 Years of Service to Our Customers

Opened a New Dedicated Terminal in Auburndale, FL
October 2002
A New 5,500 Square Foot Office Building Was Built
In October of 2002, a new 5,500 square foot office building was built in Cairo Georgia’s Industrial Park in order to accommodate RBI’s growth.
In 2012
We Became a 100% Employee-Owned Company
In 2012, Robert Bearden, Inc. became a 100% Employee-Owned Company. In addition to our 401K with matching contributions, drivers can now earn stock in our company that goes towards their retirement.
In 2016
Opened a New Dedicated Terminal in Greensboro, NC

Opened a New Dedicated Terminal in Smyrna, TN
